Fuelled by foundation jungle culture. Moved by the melting pot Driven by futurism, eclecticism and those exciting playgrounds between the genres, the eras and the flavours; Yorobi’s been deep the laboratory since 99, forever studying the dark art of expression through beats and bass.
Magnetised to the movement through her own mixed heritage roots, her musical vision is one of unity, fusion and no boundaries. Whether it’s released on heavily respected labels like Exit and Parallax; whether it’s performed at nights such as Rupture London and clubs like OT301 Amsterdam (or any inclusive free rave in between); where it’s broadcast on radio stations like innovative new radio platform Echobox or the legendary Jungletrain where she made a name for herself in the mid-2000s; Yorobi’s selections and productions consistently create space for tempos, emotions and genres to blur and mutate with tension and release.
In functional programming, fold refers to a family of higher-order functions that analyze a recursive structure through use of a given combining operation, recombine the results of recursively processing its constituent parts, building up a return value. Map represents an associative abstract data type composed of a collection of key, value pairs. This is exactly what is happening with the cultural scene at the very moment. We systematically and methodically change concepts, mix online and offline life and try to offer an optimal solution for events and cultural enjoyment for all participants. We present interactive art, music & design – for visitors and online guests with artists* on site and around the world. This project receives state funding.

We aka das Shining are working on a new project: Endgame
Extinction is the termination of a kind of organism or of a group of children, usually a species. The moment of extinction is generally considered to be the death of the last individual of the species, although the capacity to breed and recover may have been lost before this point.
As we are at the moment at the beginning of the so-called Holocene extinction we created Endgame to draw attention to it. This performance deals with the connection of different creatures and their extinction. Our virtual life forms grow and thrive, they influence each other, explore their surroundings, mate with others and little by little, they die. The extinction of species sets in.
Spectators of this event are invited to observe – and hear – the mesmerizing spectacle and the devastating end of existence, without the ability to intervene.
The audience can influence the sounds generated by the installation by moving virtual ears via their smartphones to individual points of the scene. These ears generate signals that are evaluated by our synthesizers and thus control the performance together with us.
The performance will premiere at the World Earth Day Festival 2022.
Exposure Therapy streams local music culture straight into your living rooms! As long as we all have to stay at home we will regularly provide you finest electronic music out of one of Tübingen’s shared houses.
Here you can listen to my stream from 12.1.2022
